dragonsdemesne - 3 (sontaran)
Physsion - 1 (silent)

Physsion banned flying weapon, shard of patience, and fractal.

GGs; they all could really have gone either way, depending on the draws.

Game 1: LOSS (earthquake/pulverizer used)

game 2 WIN vs darkstall (dusk/steal/drain/stiletto) (lockdown achieved, he had only 1 steal for the first pulvy, 2nd one stuck and that was it)

Careful observers may note that this is the same deck as game 1 :p  Earthquake seemed very good vs physsion because all of his/her good decks needed lots of quanta.

dimstall mod based on his used cards (he has no PC left) (Called it a 'mod' because I had prebuilt a similar deck, but altered it quite a bit due to the cards spent in games 1/2)
game 3 WIN vs rol/hope fractal/lobo, got him down to 45 before hope came down, dimshield chain unbroken, chimera for exact lethal (some dragons were slightly bigger due to overdrive/acceleration before being loboed)

game 4 WIN vs crusader adrenastaves, we both had a slow draw, armagios/dims stalled until deckout

Same idea as game 3, but modded again to account for the fact that I expected either firestall (more likely, IMO) or adrenastaves (less likely, IMO).  It turned out to be adrenastaves.  Physsion got a 2 pend start and I got a 1 pillar start.  I ended up throwing away an armagio and the chimera and maybe 1 other card as well until I could get stuff out (forget how long it took to get quanta, now) and Physsion couldn't find any druid staffs for a long time.  Armagios stalled against him for a long time because he couldn't get many creatures out (like 2-3 turns each) and because I got 2 gravity pulls early to kill stuff with, and I had enough dims to chain until deckout in the end.  I'm not sure how this one would have played out if both of our starting hands hadn't been utter trash.

Good games, dragons!

Spoiler for Game 1 - Win (Used Rage Potion, Deflagration):

Deck import code : [Select]

Worked as planned - predicted an earthquake deck in the first game, so brought a surprise Raging Angels deck instead of Firestall. Miscalculated my damage at the end, and used my last Deflagration on his Gravity Shield too early and left him at 1HP, but thankfully he didn't play another one. 1-0

Spoiler for Game 2 - Loss (Used Steal, Dusk Mantle, Drain Life, Vampire Stiletto):
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5li 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5mq 5uo 5uo 5uo 5up 5up 5up 5ur 5us 5us 5us 5us 5us 5us 7jo 7k2 7la 7la 7tb 7tb 8pt

Hoping dragons wouldn't take his Earthquake deck again, I swapped over to Siphonary - sadly, I saw early that I was going up against the exact same deck. Quanta draw wasn't great, I was able to Drain the first Shard of Focus that came out, but couldn't stop the second. Stole a Pulverizer at one point, but eventually he got rid of all my Sanctuaries, pillars and pendulums, and I was quanta locked with no way to recover. 1-1

Spoiler for Game 3 - Loss (Used Fractal, Lobotomizer):

Deck import code : [Select]

Hopes were hiding - as dragons said, he got me down to 45 before I was able to stop his damage. Probably would have been my loss by deckout even if I had drawn Hope earlier, as I had no way around dims. 1-2

Spoiler for Game 4 - Loss (Used Adrenaline, Druidic Staff, Flying Weapon):

Noticed that dragons was bringing bigger decks, so bulked this one up to 35, but sadly it wasn't enough. Was able to outheal all of his damage, but lost by deckout. 1-3

what nae said, and once my computer shut down in the middle of it. These are what I remember using... I tried to keep the decks in a notepad during the matches but I didn't save it, and the computer shut down in the middle of the fourthmatch. Therefore, game five, to my knowledge, is the only one I can guarantee has the exact deck as is posted in the labeled spoiler tags.

Spoiler for game one~loss 0-1:

Got decent draw, but the pulvy destroyed one early eternity and I didn't know momentum'd wardens would still attack the creature they're guarding... apparently nae didn't need upped otyughs to eat my ghosts  ::)

Spoiler for game two~win! 1-1:

God, this was an interestingly fun deck to play. Lightnings and anubis's (ability) eventually got used, due to nae's discords. My ghosts apparently didn't need the immortality, but its a nice touch :)

Spoiler for game three~win! 2-1:

Dune scorps. Just dune scorps. I got a time pillar and a time pendulum or two out first turn I believe, and dune scorps+blessing out third turn. I think it may have something to do with that 30 card deck and 6 dune scorps+6 blessings ^ - ^ Either way, the +1 per turn assuming the dune scorps still attack every turn is pretty nice, stacked with the ability of the neurotoxin itself  ;D

Spoiler for game four~loss 2-2:

Nope, explosions destroyed my solar shields if not my eternities. Even the crusaders I drew before it crashed, Nae rage-elixir'd them.

Spoiler for game five~win! 2-3:

well, this was certainly a close one. Think I got like 3 or 4 pendulums first turn and drew them throughout the game, and my graoids appeared alongside my earthquakes, RTs, the eternity that got explosion'd, and the stone skin that probably saved my life. Had two cards until I would've deck'd out, honestly.

One-Pillar-Draw against an early army of Devourers. With one more pend two turns later, RNG thought I had enough quanta. LOSS

Slightly modded for a bit more quanta, just to see another 1-pend-draw. After a dc, we both won and replayed. I got a good hand then and had PC ready when needed. WIN

Mono-Darkness in every game made me think she expected Disco-Hole, so I went with this. I got a 2nd-turn Titan out flown and could overdrive it one or two turns later. Too fast for Mono-Dark. WIN

I'm not sure when Round 2 will start, but I will have limited access to the internet next week (Mon-Sat) due to being out of town.  I might be able to play my matches on a spur of the moment, if I get time to check in, but I won't be able to schedule anything with any kind of firm commitment until that Saturday evening or later.  (or else before, if the round finishes, but it probably won't)

Round 2 will start shortly after Round 1 ends, on Sunday night. Hopefully you can use that time to inform your opponent of when you would be able to play on Saturday evening or the Sunday before Round 2 ends.
Somehow still around, somewhat

Trashduke (Sontaran)- 3
Ddevans (Ice Warrior) - 2

Close games; thanks for the match

He had a bunch of dims and lightnings which slowed things down, but I had enough healing to keep me afloat for a while.  Chargers eventually got past the dims.

He had some mad Trident and BB slowdowns (oh SoFo, why can't you work anymore?), couldn't really get anything going....

game 3 - dbh (won)

Unfortunately he had a crap draw, and mine was good.  DBH trolls hard so he saved time and quit.

My turn for the crap draw (1 pillar), I eventually started going and slowed his rush down, but it wasn't fast enough.

game 5 - guardtal (won)

Got a good start and some quick damage, Fractalled and then we desynced. He was racking up some damage with SoPa, but I (and my AI ghost) won.

I think I may have tweaked the decks in game 3 and 4 (forgot to copy the code after playing), but that's basically what I had.

Thanks again for the match!
