Almost forgot I promised calindu I'd post decks after Western.....

Just your run-of-the-mill shrieker rush.  Pretty much just focused on getting as many creatures out as quickly as possible and control be damned.  I swapped in 2 Shields for 2 Antlions a few times too.  This proved to be a remarkable effective deck against anything that wasn't featuring large-scale healing, unlimited CC, or Discord.  This was something I came up with myself but is hardly original.

Another unoriginal deck in catapult Titans.  I tinkered around with tossing in a few Accelerations or going with 6 Catapults over the Shields.  Only used this deck once.  Basically figured everyone in the world was expecting this deck and a graboid rush so they'd be countered alot.  Another one I just built myself but isn't original.

Far and away the money deck for me.  Reverse Time was only really used in decks featuring graboid rushes so whenever I expected one I'd avoid this deck.  Against most anything else it was unstoppable.  The healing from the staffs basically ruined cat Titan decks and the low cost of the cards made it viable against Discord and EQ decks as well.  Never lost with this deck and saw quite a few others in Western use it as well.  This deck was modded from a deck YawnChainHow used against me when we used tourney decks for a BL match.

Another highly successful deck for me.  This tournament didn't seem to feature a large amount of "hard" CC so going light on the creatures was a solid choice.  The Discord really screws things up long enough for a decent lead to get built up before chaining the Silences.  I'd sometimes drop the nymph for an extra dragon too.  This is another deck I saw copied and used by some people in Western.  This deck was modded from a deck Jen-i used against me in our first match of Eastern.

This is a deck I never saw anyone use and it really surprised me.  I fashioned this out of the Adrenastaff deck to be a hard counter to Graboid decks, which I was certain would be the go-to deck of choice for most players due to it's consistency.  True to form it really did a number on the tournament for me and if not for drawing 1 Wings in the first 20 cards against majofa it would have gone undefeated.  Needless to say it's a one-trick pony type of deck sort of a risk/reward situation.  Catapult Titans would crush it, as you and type of infection/plague deck but the meta seemed not to favor either of those decks at first.  I added another Flying Weapon sometimes to get a deckout win condition which was useful against some of the RT/Eternity decks.  To be honest the only reason I even used a deck like this was my confidence in being able to excel in the meta of this tournament to know when to play it and when not to.

Anyhow, those were the decks I used.

Carpe Diem!!

Thx for posting your decks and thoughts T*. It's always interesting to get some insight into the way good pvp'ers approach the meta.
