i reached final of eastern and i saw a LOT of fire stalls and you don't need a buckler.
rage potions,bolts,fire storms and SoG did the most

And did you not beat all these Fire stalls?

Ya, fire shield is the least important card in a fire stall. Helps against speed rainbows, fractal phoenix, RoL/hope, and that's mostly it.

Your best bet against a fire stall in this setup is probably fractal pest, but if your opponent takes an immolation or nova based deck, you're screwed. Another option is to take a slightly smaller fire stall in an attempt to draw needed cards (fahrenheits/bolts) before your opponent. That was my strategy but it lost because 4/6 bolts were in the last 10 cards...

Not in this setup. It's the most important one due to Fractal, as we've seen. All of this is very obvious though, and the fact remains there's no problem with variety. If it boils down to -one- deck, it would mean all those rules are unnecessary, and we could just go with a predetermined deck tourny. It doesn't.
