As a side note, we've all seen what percentages do to people. If we are to have a minimum requirement, it'll be a number of cards. For instance, 7.

Yeah, it would be nice. But then you have the problem of people just throwing three pendulums in. There are just too many loopholes to make perfect rules that are -also- simple. =/
The only simple way to avoid Immolationbows and speedbows is banning Immolation and Nova. While I could make that change now since it's still Wednesday, I don't like ruining the deckbuilding some people have already done. However, it would certainly force us to be creative, which is awesome. Mm..

Yeah, I've been thinking about this for too long. 5 cards it is. Sorry everyone who already made decks, but I intended for everyone to use proper quartets.

not accounting pillars/pendulums, 5 is too much in my opinion (5x4=20)
so 30 card is hardly viable and force people to build fatter decks
4 x4 =16 leaving 14 cards for pillars/pendulums for those who wants to optimize their deck but i'm ok with fatter decks

Yeah, pillars/pendulums can be counted into that quota. I don't see a problem with that.

I'm actually not liking this. If I have any cards that rely on regular pillars or pendulums then the odds of getting a dead hand are just too high. I end up with water pendulums but no water cards with which to use those water quanta. Because it is too conceited to say there is no way to work it with just regular pillars and pendulums, I'll have to say my abilities are just not enough to work this tournament skillfully. So I am forced to use quantum pillars like a tool.
