Upgraded cards are not allowed.
Decks must contain at least 5 copies of Voodoo Doll.

Actually, we keep the discussion in the Eastern thread for simplicity's sake. That's why the FAQ is there.

I don't believe that there's ever been a tournament cancelled due to lack of participants, for Eartern or Western. More people will come, it's just that sometimes there's not too much discussion about the tournament unless there are questions about it or the rules are unclear. Being a simple tournament, most of the likely participants are quiet, or active in discussion only in the Eastern thread.

I do know it'll be hard to come up with something other than a combo with Pandemonium. It's hard to only hurt your opponent with it when they also have Voodoo Dolls in their decks.

Voodoo dolls have much better combos than pandemonium, which is a terrible card for this tourney.

Well, when Voodoo Dolls come to mind, the first card I think of is Pandemonium. However, Pandemonium would be terrible in this type of tournament, and so other options need to be considered.

I'm not a big fan of playing with Dolls, so I don't know many of the good combos for them.
