can you clarify the definition of duo/trio decks for this tourney. For instance, would it be acceptable to have essentially a mono-deck but just have a random mark? or do you have to have cards from 2 or 3 different elements?
thanks
Q: What, exactly, is a duo/trio?
A: A duo is a deck that uses cards from two different elements. That includes pillars/pendulums, but not mark or abilities. A trio is the same, but with three elements.
The Elements Forum community defines a duo/trio deck as a deck with cards from 2 or 3 elements, plus "Other" cards, respectively.
Pillars and Pendulums count as cards of their element (i.e. an Aether Pillar counts as an Aether card. An Aether Pendulum counts as an Aether card, regardless of your mark).
The mark is not counted as being of a particular element.
Example: This is still a mono-Earth deck.
