Wow. The first time I make it past R1 it's an upped tourney, and I make semis. Just wow.

Rage quit mirror is seriously the worst game I've ever played . We desynced in 2 games each of which took half an hour. A coinflip was called for because it was already 4 hours in to the tournament. I guess I'm lucky with coins today.

I really think aflatoxin and SoG's should have been banned. The point of this tournament was to incentive the use of nymphs and flying weapons, not the use of Rage Quit decks. Rage Q decks made the tourney last forever. My match ended up short because I was facing the RQ deck and it would just stall and stall. It's not really fun to come into a tournament and then have the matches go 1 hour plus. TT'

If you expect rage quit decks, play counters. I immediately ban if there's a problem with balance, not with monotonous metagame from players. That said, banning SoG's would've sped it up and allowed for more different kinds of decks, so it would've been a good move for that separate reason. I'll definitely keep it closer in mind in future upped tournies.

@kobis: I did not swiftly dismiss it at all. I explained why I hadn't done it. People complaining is due to the different reason I stated above. Sass doesn't help anyone here.
