Not really. Mind Flayer takes care of all creatures with skills, and you can play that faster than Anubis/Turquoise Nymph if you're thinking of quinting them. Of course, a Purple Nymph will completely wreck, say, Monofire, but you have to anticipate these things and adapt.
Thats true but only 1 of my decks can run Mind flayer due to the change your element rule, so the other 2 games could just be destroyed by nymphs. I am well aware that other cards are out there that can take care of nymphs however in order to use them you have to give up speed to a point. Also not all decks need skills to work, so I pick to run my mindflayer and I run into shriker rush I know I am ready to lose. I know a few players will pick decks that really dont care who they play against, and I would be one of those but overall the idea of nymphs annoy me when thinking of unupgraded events with no spells.
I am personaly fine with nymphs myself but seeing as this is unupgraded I don't see why we should allow them with these current rules. Pillers and creatures are all your allowed to run basicaly, so the older players with better creatures will have a big advantage just because they have the option to use the best creatures.
I also understand that people need to anticipate these things and you can, however a whole other group of players having the option to play these cards in any and all thier decks is a fairly large advantage.
Anyways I just wanted to list my concern thats all, if you don't think it will be an issue it prolly wont be an issue.
See you all at the tournament!
