Special Rules
Upgraded cards allowed.
The only source of quanta (apart from the Mark you start with) is pendulums. Therefore, no Pillar/Tower, Nova/Supernova, Immolation/Cremation or quanta-generating creatures including Rustler/Leaf Dragon, Firefly Queen/Elite Queen, Devourer/Pest, Ray of Light, Gnome Gemfinder, Brimstone Eater, Damselfly and White/Light Nymph.
Earthquake/Quicksand and Trident/Poseidon not allowed.
Luciferin/Luciferase not allowed.
Black Hole and Amber/Gravity Nymph not allowed.
White/Light Nymph and Amber/Gravity Nymph obtained from nymphs tears are not allowed.

Also, just a suggestion.. how about cards can be upped except Pendulums?  Because most people wouldn't have any yet.

Oh, and I guess RoL should be included.. but what about Luciferin?

How about Poiseidon (the water weapon)? Its pillar/pendulum destruction skill is not labelled as earthquake.

Would we not be allowed to fill our decks with pendulums the same as our mark. I assume you wouldn't want us all making monos with pendulums instead of pillars.

Ah yes, that would be overpowered as well. I'll ban that.

Just use pendulums; I don't see monos having too much advantage over other combos although a mono gravity with Black Hole might be too strong so I will also ban Black Hole to give more incentive to non-mono.

it's ability is Black Hole.. I'd say no, but it's the TO's decision.

So... Damselfly, Firefly, Ray of Light, Gnome "whateveritis", and Brimstone Eater are also included in the banned list. Also, Discord would throw a serious screwball at any deck in here if it prevented an early stall. Would Discord be OP too?

I've never really considered Discord to be OP, even against monos. Yeah, it's powerful if it comes out early, but that means you need to put several in there, reducing something else about your deck. Plus, with enough quanta production, it won't even be that good. Not to mention Improved Steal and Explosion being ever so cheap.

Discord is not OP, discord does not remove nor add quanta, discord only rearranges quanta. A mono deck will with good tower... *hrm**cough* pendulum draw, will simply bypass it within a couple of turns.

How about rather than debating on each individual card and if it is allowed or not, just say anything other than a pendulum which produces OR destroys quanta or quantum sources is banned?
