Heh, has more to do with how you can make your schedule work. I work way too much to be able to do that.

Meh, I don't dispute that I'm lucky but I do have to stay up till 4-5am to play in the Eastern.

(when I get to the finals, that is)
: P
I normally stay up til 4 anyway :P, probably wouldn't be able to last until 5am though.

You guys are lucky.  Western tournament starts at 1 pm (when my soccer games / life is) and Eastern tournaments start in the middle of the night rarely before 2 am.  I can only make tournaments in the winter and sometimes in the summer.

1pm you can't really complain about cause it is a prime time (you have something to do with a waterlogged pitch and other cancellations) and 2am is a bit early but I could probably make it at that time depending on how long tourneys last (I only last one round in them so I have no idea).

Football is in the spring where I live.  Soccer is year round.  I play both, and basketball is late night.  1 pm WOULD be a great time.  I'm just busy then.

darkness and fire pendulums I suppose? also the rules said " No more than 3 copies of any card in your deck besides pillars and pendulums" and you got 6 marks :P and out of interest do marks abide to the 6 only limit?

They do. You can only use 6 in a deck. By that logic, 3 would be max in this event. But by function, I don't see a problem with allowing six. Mechanically, they work just like pillars, after all. Earthquakes were no game-breakers in this tourny anyway.
