Other cards are the cards that are in the "Other" tab when you buy or manage your deck.

Added this to prevent the loophole of using fire marks for example (they are other cards) they could have been used to build unstable gas deck or Steam machine decks etc.

Heh this tournament will probably end up being a lot of rock paper scissors type games, in that it will be decided largely by which element you choose and what your opponent does . Certain elements will almost always win against others. Should be fun though.

Not true: a mono deck where creatures' abilities require another type of quanta.
So: are they?

Ah, so you haven't realized what I did? Think about it. What two quanta types can you produce? The card itself, and your mark. Let's say you're playing mono fire. You would have a fire pendulum, and a fire mark. So it would alternate between producing fire and....fire. You could still put some in your deck to count earthquake, or something like that, but other than that.....

Well, I can imagine that because they just came out, the tournament would allow mono + pendulums. In which case you could add a few earth pendulums to your mono fire.

if you played earth pedulums in your mono fire, you would auto lose for using another element, meaning it wouldnt be mono.
