Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.


NOTE: Tournament prizes has changed! Electrums are outdated, you can collect fractions of a Nymph/Mark Code by placing 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Here is the Google Sheet where you can follow your progress.

Special Rules

• Players can only use War 13 Decks.
  
  
• Players can only use each War element once for the entire tournament.
  When players post a win result, they must also post which War elements they used in what order.
  (We'd like to kindly ask the winners to also post the used elements of the loser as well.)
  
  There were only 8 elements last War, so if you happen to play a 9th game, you may choose a
  deck freely again regardless of already used elements.
  
  
• In Round 1 everybody must use Soldier decks. In R2 and R3 Lieutenant and General decks are free usable.
  
  
• Upgrade counts may stay, except the situation when the deck was boosted by "upgrade tokens".
  In that case your deck must have less upgrades (original upgrade count of the deck MINUS number of upgrade tokens).
  (The number of upgrade counts are in their respective posts.)
  
  
• Mark cards can be changed to Pillars of the same element (or Towers - in case of upped Mark cards).
  
  
• Nymphs - if not available for the player - can be changed to either an alchemy spell or a ppm of the same element.

TOURNAMENTS Q&A

Q: "War element" counts as the mark of the deck, or the team which made the deck?
A: The latter.

Since there were eight participating elements, how would a 3x 2-1 turn out? And what about upgrade tokens?

You are totally right about elements count. Forgot that this was the first war with 8 elements...
That's a maximum of 9 games, so the rule stays and if your 9th game commencing
you may choose freely again.

Upgrade tokens are another good catch. Since (hopefully) they are mentioned in the actual post,
those decks must be build with original upgrade count (means minus the tokens).

According to votes and blab chat comments the tourney will start earlier. The new goal is 16 UTC.

Also though it isn't the first tourney like this, but added to Q/A that TEAMS matter (which made the deck), not the mark of the deck
as "war element usage".
