Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before signing up.

Prizes 1st 7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark 3rd 4,000 electrum 4th 3,000 electrum 5th 2,000 electrum 6th 1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

NOTE: Players with fewer than 10 forum posts are not allowed to enter tournaments. Spamming low-quality posts to reach the minimum post count needed to participate will not be tolerated.

Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Upgraded cards and shards are not allowed.
• Allowed cards are those that belong to the patch 1.0
• Except pillars, each card can be used only in one deck for the whole tourney.
• You cannot use the same deck more than once for the whole tourney.

Tournament Organizer Note

If you think that there is an overpowered card that should be banned, don't say it publicly in the comments. Instead, send them to SpikeSpiegel, Dm1321, Submachine and dawn to dusk who will privately discuss whether the card is really OP or not.

Q: What does it mean that I can use each card just in one deck for the whole tourney? And that I cannot use the same deck more than once for the whole tourney.
A: Basically that each card (except pillars) can be used only once for the whole tourney. If you build a deck using for example...graboid, you can't use that card anymore for the rest of the tourney.

Let's make an example: if in the first game you use this deck

Q: I used a card in my first game, can I use it again, but in a different deck?
A: Nope.


Q: Can I use pendulums?
A: Nope, since pendulums were added to the game with the 1.25 patch.


Q: I'm here since 2009 and I remember well that SoG and SoD were in the 1.0 patch, why are they banned?
A: Because original SoG and SoD were usable only upped, and this tournament is unupped.


Q: How can we keep tracks of the cards used?
A: After a match, with the results, post cards you've used.

Will we know what our opponents have already used?  For instance, if I win with flying daggers and momentumed rustlers, would I have to post dragonsdemesne - 2 someguy - 0 and say I've used flying weapon, dagger, momentum, and rustler already?  Otherwise it seems like I could play the same 3 decks in every round and nobody would be the wiser.

Also, tourney clock says tourney already started... so when will it be?

"used decks" or "cards used in your decks for that round"?

Since it's the same, and since once you used a deck you cannot use it again, post used decks.

EDIT: Since people could copy an used deck, just post cards you used.

Rule clarification please, let's say I create deck 1 and I use it against my first opponent in game 1. I win, we then move on to game 2 of our best of 3 series. Do I need to use a different deck now, or can I reuse deck 1?

Basically I'm unclear as to the difference between "Game" and "Match", and I'm not sure if the rule means that every deck can only be used strictly ONCE, or if it's once per opponent. A deck can be used only once for the whole tourney. So, the deck (and its cards, of course) that you used in game 1, for you it's unusable for the rest of the tourney.

I think it would mean that you can use mark cards, but you can only use each type of standalone mark once in the tourney.
