Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 5,000 electrum 3rd place 4,000 electrum 4th place 3,000 electrum In case of 16 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.

• Upgraded cards are banned.
• The number of cards allowed per element, depends on your mark. The spectrum is (same as in game from top to bottom for the deck manager). You may use up to 6 card copies from your marks element, 4 card copies from elements adjacent in the spectrum, and 2 from the elements another step away from it. So with a Life Mark, you are allowed to use 6 card copies of Life cards, 4 card copies of Earth/Fire cards and 2 card copies of Gravity/Water cards.
• Elements further away in the spectrum are allowed 0 copies. "Other cards" as well as pillars, pendulums and Mark cards from all elements are unrestricted.
• Fire Bolt, Discord, Dimensional Shield, Earthquake, Arctic Squid, Fahrenheit, Nightmare, Devourer, Shard of Integrity, Shard of Patience and Shard of Freedom are banned.

TOURNAMENTS Q&A

Q: What about Entropy and Aether? The list starts and stops at those elements...
A: You continue the list from the other end. So With an Aether Mark you are allowed 6 copies of Aether cards, 4 of Entropy/Darkness and 2 of Time/Death.

Q: I do not understand the rules still?
A: Maybe an example deck will help. The one in the spoiler is legal.

I understood the rules until I saw the example deck. I'll need some clarification here. There are nine Aether cards (non-pillar, pend, mark) and three Time cards with only 2 Darkness cards. Did you mistake SoW for Pends? Did you switch the order of Time and Darkness? Did you confuse legal with illegal?

For another minor thing, are you allowed to use 4 cards for each adjacent element? I take it that yes. I'd like unambiguous phrasing for Germans and non-natives, please.

Well, according to the phrasing and the example deck, there is a mark of (that means up to 6 copies of a card for , up to 4 copies of a card for & and up to 2 copies of a card for & ), so there are 6 copies of Turquoise Nymph and 4 copies of SoW (4 is below 6 so it is legal), there are 3 Novas (3 is below 4 so it is legal), 1 virus (1 is below 2 so it is legal), 2 vampire stilletos (2 is below 4 so it is legal), 1 SoR and 1 Anubis and 1 Golden Nymph (1 is below 2 so all three of these are legal) and Marks & Pends don't count. So, here you are...
