Perhaps a less offensive Tournament Name should have been chosen. I don't want to flame, argue, or start a flame war, but there are many people - myself included - who take 9/11 to be a serious, solemn, and tragic day in American history, not to be taken lightly.
I was not intended to treat 9/11 lightly, nor meant to make a joke about it, as some may look at it this way. On the contrary, I was trying to make it as a tribute, and a respectful one. I hope people can look at the bright side and understand my stance on this matter.
If it's meant as a tribute, that's ok. I just didn't see it that way at first. No worries Vin.
^ Is ??? there a Psion?
About 9/11, relax dudes, Vineroz never meant any harm. I actually find it a bit rediculous to accuse him instead of thanking him for organizing weekly tournaments.
I never accused him of anything, I just made a simple suggestion. As it is, lots of family members of my personal friends died, so you could see why I would be put off at first.
This isn't meant to ridicule you either. I merely wish to show you that my actions were meant to be respectful in nature - in order to honor those that have died. Please don't deem my response - which was simply meant to honor the aforementioned deceased - "ridiculous." I understand Vin's intent now, and that's fine, but I didn't know his intent before he told me. This is exactly what I didn't want to come from my post. I hope we can all drop the matter after THIS POST, as I have already made my original point and Vin has already addressed it.
