Deck Checker for the tournament: http://etg.dek.im/vanilla/tournament.htm
Special thanks for serprex and Fippe94 for creating this tool and the ruleset checker.

It is suggested that you send your starting deck mark to the organizer before the tournament starts.
As you may have noticed, shards are allowed, except the ones that are specifically banned.

Q: Do we have to change marks after every single duel or is it enough after facing each opponent?
A: You have to change after every single duel, even against the same opponent.

Q: Are 'Other' cards allowed?
A: Yes. Using them are the only way to build mono decks.

Q: Does having light pendulums without any other :light cards in a deck count as using the :light element?
A: Yes.

Q: When you complete a best of 3, do you have to continue your element rotation into the next match, or can you pick a new element to start with?
A: You have to continue the rotation until you are out, even if you get in the bronze match.

Spoiler for legal and illegal:

What counts as illegal:
- you include a banned card
- you use more than 4 pillars+pendulums+mark cards altogether that match your deckmark's element
- you include less than 4 (non-quantaperm) cards matching your mark in your deck
- you include more than 7 (non-quantaperm) cards matching your mark in your deck
- you use more than 2 elements
- you use the wrong mark

Ginyu is also right. If you don't understand something, you can always refer to the given examples. ^^; Or if you still have difficulties, ask it again and I'll try to describe it differently. :)

I just want to say, I really like this tourney theme. It'll keep people from just using one or two decks for the whole tourney (as long as they survive)

When you say: "After your first duel, deck marks must be changed in the following order", do you mean the mark has to change along the rotation

a) after each individual game
     OR
b) after each best-of-3 battle

In case of a) a player would play 2-3 different mark decks per battle, while in case b) the mark would be fixed for a battle between 2 players for the duration of 2-3 individual games.

So which one is it ?

Spoiler for Hidden:
I would prefer a) as that forces more variety...

The right answer would be A), so a Bo3 would need 2-3 different decks to be used for each players. ;) But i also edited the second post to reflect this.

1. maximum 4 pillars/pendulums/mark cards matching your mark                              -maximum 4 in total,or maximium 4 of each?
2. you can't use 2 pillars and 3 pendulums in the same deck                                     -this considers on pillars/pendulums matching our mark?
3. must use 4-7 (non-pillar/pendulum/mark) cards (not copies!) matching your mark-so if we have 4-7 different cards, are extra copies allowed then?

For the first, read the rule further. I added in brackets already: (you can't use 2 pillars and 3 pendulums in the same deck for example).
Yes. For future reference, if two sentences are in the same row, they are effectively the same rule but in 2 halves.
If you have an earth mark, you can use 2 Antlions and 3 Pulverizers, but cannot use 2 Antlions, 1 Stone Skin, 1 Plate Armor, 3 Enchant Artifact and 1 Pulverizer.

You have to use 4-7 cards of your elements mark, pillars/pends not included.

Using Submachine's example:
- you can use 2 Antlions and 3 Pulverizers (total of 5, so 4-7 is matched)
- use 2 Antlions, 1 Stone Skin, 1 Plate Armor, 3 Enchant Artifact and 1 Pulverizer (total of 8, so 4-7 is not matched)
Do you have a great idea for a Weekly Tournament? Post it here!

  • You can only use maximum 4 pillars/pendulums/mark cards matching your mark (you can't use 2 pillars and 3 pendulums in the same deck for example).
  • You must use 4-7 (non-pillar/pendulum/mark) cards (not copies!) matching your mark.
  • You can only use mono and duo decks.

[Nitpick mode on]
If you can have max 4 pillars/pendulums/mark cards matching your mark + max 7 non-pillar/pendulum/mark cards (not copies!) matching your mark. => that's a total of max 11 cards matching your mark, which is far less than 30, so you cannot really make a mono deck.
So you might as well say in the last rule: "You can only use duo decks."
[/Nitpick mode off]

ps: Oh, what about 'Other' cards, are they allowed ? Because then you can technically make a mono deck even if its pretty bad...

Roses aren't red, Violets aren't blue.
They are just a simulation, and so are you!

I am really confused. When you say (not copies!) this implies you mean 4-7 different types of cards, since copies (afaik) mean individual cards. You should remove that part in that case.
Try Fragments, my card game!
