Weekly Tournament - October 5th - Over the Rainbow - Unupgraded

Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 5,000 electrum 3rd place 4,000 electrum 4th place 3,000 electrum In case of 16 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

Points for the World Championship 1st place 4 points 2nd place 2 points 3rd place 1 point

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.


Special Rules

• Upgraded cards are not allowed.
• Each deck must contain non-PPM cards from 7 or more elements.
• Maximum 4 cards can be used from a single element (including PPMs)
• Maximum 2 copies can be used from any card, except for PPMs. (Any number of copies are allowed from Quantum Pillars, other PPMs are limited by the previous rule)
• Shard of Patience, Trident, Black Hole, Sundial, Dimensional Shield and all nymphs are banned.
• Maximum deck size is 35.

Q: If I include only 1 card of an element, does it count as using it?
A: Yes.

Q: Are Other cards allowed?
A: Yes, but Other does not count as an element, so you still need to include at least 7 other elements.

Used g1 vs Zso, it was really bad, with me drawing all the support cards. Also NM when opponent is also forced into rainbow wtf.

Things went rather good, starting with Fog and Vagger ( ). CC'd a lot of creatures, then his GP'd Doll arrived,
but I had a magic dmg Steamy + Miracle just in time (had it in hand, used it in turn#17). PUs on Grab wasn't
enough for him, because Deflags got bottomdecked.

EQ in hand, yeah. Most of the combo cards, too. Used an EQ, 3 qps gone, but next turn sobra from vags, and 3 qps back. -.-
But Dragon OTK was still too slow to win, though he did some burst dmg.

Well, almost. I was so obsessed with EQ that I've put my first Enchant on the QPs, but the other got hidden. That was a mistake.
Enchanting my Fog = win. (Oa had 32 life left.) It was my turn with brutal bottomdecking: both quints stayed in last 8 cards.
(Which means got the 1st one as card#25.)

1-1 Anubis Powah SoSe Grabs Edition vs. BW Miracle

Had nice dmg from start, but he had an early BW. SoSe gave me Adrenaline and BE, so after the Anubis
my Grab got adrenalined and quinted too. BE for Forest Spirit. Oa either didn't have a Miracle ready or didn't expect my extra Lightning.

1-2 Previous deck modified vs. Faster Bow

Had some feeling that I'll need more CC, so added Squids. Should have listened to my gut feelings
and played a more CC-oriented deck. He had a fantastic hand. 5 QPs, so by the time I was able to fire both
of EQs he had a ton of quanta... And a T2/3 Arse and a Steam Machine on field which just killed me quickly
(having only 1 Lightning in hand, and no squid). No chance.
