It's a slippery slope if people start asking TO's to fully define and explain/defend the choices for the metagame. I reckon I am partially guilty for asking for clarification in previous tournament threads =)

That said (I almost typed 'dead sad'), it is kind of... difficult... to interpret the highlighted text in the quote. For this week, I'll follow Vangelios in what he said in a post a bit up. If it's wrong, it's wrong, if I inadvertently break the rules by loopholing without realising it and get DQ'ed, well, that's the way it is.

May not be logistically possible, but this would be more fun if there were a beggar bracket & a barron bracket (randomly assigned?), leading to a final beggar vs barron 1st place battle.
Maybe for a futurer tourney.

FFQ/Pharaoh is no biggie,but allowing graboid is just too much,I expect at least 50% of beggar decks to be graboid rushes.

I ahve to agree with vagman I've playtested several begger decks and the most effective one is grabbie rush, I've fond one other but i'm not gonna reveal that one most people probably know it.

There are still plenty of counters available against Graboid rush in both beggar and baron decks. In general, I think this tournament is fairly balanced.

I was thinking about what decks I might use if I try this tournament, and I thought I was pretty dead set on which side of beggar/baron I'd pick, but then I had a few interesting deck ideas for the other one, and now I'm not so sure which would be the better choice. It's probably moot in my case anyway since this one begins at 6am for me, but if I'm not there, it might be fun to discuss what people used afterwards vs the ideas I had for it.
