Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

Been in several Egg tourneys and the first change we did was to not have 12 CC and 6 creatures. Lots of long games and even decking out that way.
As such I'll vote B, but a better version of A would generally be more fun and slightly less RNG.
The fallen elves in 'B' can do even more (repeated) mutations, so I'd rather stick with 'A'.
ps: BTW, the idea of fixed decks is cool, but I think it would be more interesting if there were 3 totally different decks and everybody could use any of the 3 and allowed to switch within match too. Ideally the 3 decks should be designed such as A > B > C > A, i.e. typical rock-paper-scissors setup.

Mutation doesn't kill -nearly- as much as Chaos Seed. Chaos Seed does, on average, 3.2 damage. We have 6 of 'em. Eggs have 1 HP. Do the math if you weren't there for a previous Egg tourney.
Sounds like misplay. 3.2 < 5. l2p
Also damage being averaged is inappropriate vs 1hp. What if one of cseed's effects were 100 damage? 8/12 cseed effects will kill an egg. Not counting lobo or infect, that's only 50%. Only infect, lightning, & well quanta'd bolts will kill abom, which could be said to be ~25% (have to take into account kill chance tho, but then there's also the matter of improved not dying to lightning)

I misplayed vs ian when he mutated my mutant into a abom with destroy. I used 2 entropy to destroy a qp hoping it'd snowball into starving his steamie, figuring I'd get enough entropy to be able to afford mutate later. This wasn't so; I was unable to mutate his steam machine or my lobo'd fate egg. I should've respected that entropy was the most strained thing in this deck
My general strategy was to mutate fate eggs the turn I played them, making it so that my opponent's chaos seeds were generally ineffective. That play style would've been more correct with deck A

I enjoy mirror matches; I feel they offer the most opportunity for misplays to matter rather than "his deck beats mine as long as he breathes & hits buttons"mirror are only better than hard counter I like of differents decks with similars chances of win.
