daww qt limited just destroy the use of one of the shards in the game the way i see it if shards are allowed all shards should be playable and qt restriction means at least 1 is unusable in anything but a horrifically unreliable deck

Limiting shards also destroys SoI.

When speaking of having dead cards in deckbuilding vault, look at tournies where you could put in a lonely nightfall in your deck with no death or darkness creatures. It is normal to have dead cards, players just simply don't use them.

But Nightfall isn't part of a set of cards that is almost always banned.

What if you have 5 copies of a shard?

You can't. The most copies of any one shard you could possibly have is 2 (because 3 copies would reduce the maximum number of copies to 2).

I see what happened. The link that was on this tournament thread linked to an old chatroom. I changed this previously - at some time, it must have gotten reverted. Every link in the Tournament Rules thread is, and has been, correct.

Apologies for the inconvienience, this wasn't an issue we were aware of.
