1st	7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon)
2nd	5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark
3rd	4,000 electrum
4th	3,000 electrum
5th	2,000 electrum
6th	1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

NOTE: Players with fewer than 10 forum posts are not allowed to enter tournaments. Spamming low-quality posts to reach the minimum post count needed to participate will not be tolerated.

Special Rules

• Shards and upgraded cards are allowed, with restrictions.
• The maximum deck size is 40, and the maximum number of upgrades per deck is 25.
• As deck size decreases by 1, the number of upgrades that can be used in that deck decreases by 2.
• You may not use more than 5 copies of any card, except for elemental Pillars, Towers, Pendulums, and Marks.
  Decrease this by 1 for every copy of a shard in your deck.

Since maximum size is 40 for which max upgrades is 25 you can decrease it from there where 39 is 27 upgrades, 38 is 29... 30 is 45 upgrades. Making 34 the maximum deck size of a fully upgraded deck.
Though that is just my interpretation, so if that's wrong a TO would do well to clarify :P

If I understood it right, if you use 4 shards total you can't add more than one copy of any other card (except pillars, etc.), so you'd also need the 4 shards to be different for the deck to be legal.

If you use four shards, you are only allowed one copy of every different card which you use (aside from elemental pillars and stuff) So even your four shard would have to be in different elements, because you wouldn't be allowed more than one copy of each different card (and shard is a card as well)

So to build a reasonable deck, two shards is probably the relative maximum. (Since that would still allow you to play three of each different card in your deck.

yeah I'm also unsure on the shard ruling the upgrades are self explanatory but by my interpretation you could have a copy of every shard and still only lose one copy max of every other card excludinng pillars/pends as 'copy' to me means having two sosac for example.

Looks crystal clear to me, by your reasoning I could pack 6 Supernovas and no shard, arguing that I added one and 5 copies of that.
