Weekly Tournament - November 28th - Speedbuilding - Naming of the Gaming - UnupgradedTournament Organizers: Ginyu, mathman101, or MeowMeowCat

Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 3,000 electrum 3rd place 2,000 electrum In case of 32 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

Points for the World Championship 1st place 4 points 2nd place 2 points 3rd place 1 point

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.



Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Shards and Upgraded cards are banned.
• A TO will select one card in the game at random each round. Players have to base their decks around that card.
  
• On top of that, a TO will also choose 2-3 cards to ban for each round for balance.
• Each deck must have at least 5 of the chosen card in it.
• You cannot have more than 40 cards in your deck.

What is an illegal deck? Can you use nymphs or other rare cards?

As it says, "All tournaments have special deckbuilding rules." An illegal deck is one that does not follow those rules. The rules for this specific tourney can be found above in Ginyu's post. Ignore that bit about building and testing the decks in advance, as you can't exactly do that for a speedbuilding tournament.

Just the next round, as the 'focus' card changes each round.
EDIT: So this means that you can NOT play your Round 2, 3, 4, etc. until the card and bans for that round are announced.

Back in the day there used to be a 3 minute limit between matches for players to decide decks, will there be such thing this tourney?   And "base their deck around the card" that means the cards has to be a key card or essential in the deck? Otherwise I'm afraid people will play with dead cards.
