In the case that 2 Players were to select the same elements what would happen?

How does that matter in any way though? You choose 3 elements your opponent is not allowed to use.

When you pick the 3 elements your opponent is not able to use them however you still are. If you both pick the same elements I'm guessing that you will both have access to using all 3?

Am I making sense or am I getting confused?

It's essentially you pick 3 elements at start of tourney, and those 3 elements are banned for your opponent every round. The 3 elements your opponent picked are banned for you. So, if you both pick the same 3, you both cant use those 3 elements, and have to use the remaining 9 elements.

Come on guys, it's not that complicated, and you're making poor Vin sad...

"You can still use your own elements" in this context means that the elements you choose to ban have no effect on the elements you can use, only your opponent's. You can still use your own element ban choices assuming they aren't banned BY THE OPPOSITION.

tough luck, in both cases both players brought sth the other deck was weak too, in all games quantaflood for both, it hurt him more.
