I don't understand why no one posted one of the most powerful anti-rush decks. It loses by Unstable Gases only and Thunderstorm/Pandemonium can be countered if played carefuly, and since no DR shield and serious healing exists your opponent wouldn't survive. I used some variations of this, but the basic build was the following:
Prolly cause it is not a tier1 deck IMO in this meta.
You just need so much going on the way you'd like for this deck to be effective.
You would need to draw 1 or 2 fractal (but not 3), a couple of photons, then a luciferin after a fractal, then a hope. If you fail to draw these cards then the deck fizzles, if you draw them in the wrong order or in redundant numbers then your hand will be cluttered with useless cards. And after all this preparation, if the opponent plays an UG then you're still screwed.
Also, the combo takes at least 5-6 turns to set up, by that time you will be close to death if the oppoent plays a monopony or similar.
EDIT: BTW I think you meant light mark in your deck, else how do you play the first luci?

I'd like to apologize for both failing to wake up early enough to start the tournament on time, and failing to keep control of the time of the rounds as well as I have in the past. I have been in a terrible state of mind mentally lately and it's affected my confidence in doing such important things as this. I know that I can do better and you, as participants, deserve better.
I personally think that you did as well as anybody else could, if not better. And for this, I'm grateful. Most TOs would have postponed the tourney without a second thought, but you stayed and managed to make it to the end. So thankyou.
