Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.

• Upgraded cards are allowed, but with restrictions.
• Your deck must be a duo deck, i.e. 50% of one element and 50% of another element. You can use any deck mark.
• In this tournament, your maximum allowed upgrades in your deck will be equal to your "Dimso". Everyone starts the tournament with 3 Dimso (Preliminary round) or 6 Dimso (First round).
• For the first lost game in every match (i.e. 0-1), TO will roll a 1d6 and the loser will gain that many of Dimso. It will be immediately in effect for the next game in the same match.
• If the other player lost the second game (i.e. 1-1), that player will gain the same amount of Dimso as his opponent in the last game.
• If a player wins a match with 2-0, he will be awarded with 3 Dimso before proceeding to next match.
• A table of Dimso of every player will be shown in the second post.
• Discord, EQ, and Miracle and its upgraded variants are banned.

Q: What is a Dimso?
A: "Dimso" is a unit that determines how many upgrades you can use in a deck.

Dimso Table (note: the present players decided with no vetos to replace the dicerolls with the number 3, so its just (roundnumber+1)*3 (+3 in case you lost a game this round already) now
also losers bracket was adjusted to have dimsos according to roundnumber rather than accumulated losses (in retrospect probably should have given them 3 upgrades more in order to keep the pace in the second final if it comes to it)

What about having just 3 dismo gained for the loser of the first game instead of 1d6 dismos? It can be frustrating for the TO that hosts the tournament to roll 1d6s all the time...

I'd like to see TOs roll 2d3 instead, where the winner of a 2-0 match is awarded 4 Dimso. Also, in case of  a double elimination tournament the discrepancy in Dimso might need to be addressed.

For me it is pretty much unbalanced. I mean someone beats a weaker player/deck and he gets a bonus to make an even stronger deck for the next game...

EDIT: I must add this is somewhat reasonable since that player was able to beat a stronger deck (+3 dimso to the loser after 0-1).

I think this is perfectly logical. I second it.

By the tournament's logic other cards are banned - it should be mentioned in the rules.

Can a deck have an odd number of cards? Like 16 of one element and 15 of another, or does it have to be exactly 50%?

My opinion: exact 50%. That would make sense.
