Weekly Tournament - May 14th -Fédération Internationale de Elements Association (FIEA) Football Challenge - UnupgradedTournament Organizers: Ginyu, mathman101, or Solaris

Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 5,000 electrum 3rd place 4,000 electrum 4th place 3,000 electrum In case of 18 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

Points for the World Championship 1st place 4 points 2nd place 2 points 3rd place 1 point

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.

Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Upgraded cards are banned.
• All cards in your deck must be a combination of elements relating to the colors of the flag from one of the World Cup finalists in the previous four World Cup competitions. Please see List below for element combinations.
• Each element combination may not be used more than twice. If there are more than 16 participants, this will be increased to no more than thrice.
• For a part of an element combination to be counted as present in a deck, there must be 4 non-quanta cards from that element in the deck.
  
  • Shard of Patience, Shard of Freedom, Fire Bolt, and Sanctuary are banned.

TOURNAMENTS FAQ

Q: What consists of a combination?
A: All elements must be used in a deck for a combination. Thus only trios are allowed (duo in the case of Spain), and this means there must be at least 4 non-quanta cards from each element.

Q: Do we need to send a TO which Country Element Combinations we have used?
A: No, Please post which you have used when you post your win. In the case of Semi Finals, the loser will need to post their used before going to the 3rd/4th place match.


Q: In using a combination, does no more than twice refer to a match or round basis?
A: This refers to the whole tournament. With 16 or less participants the maximum any player would have is 12 games, and having 7 combinations each usable twice means there are enough combinations to use in all possible games without running out.

Place at least 4-non quanta cards of each element in the main post. It's important.

Detail if "Each element combination may not be used more than twice." is match or tournament abranging, even if it seems kind of obvious. Also, this is a bit of a bad rule IMO - you should've gone for Country, which sounds a bit cooler and more thematic.

That aside, cool idea.

Colors based heavily on the country flag page for each country that is on Wikipedia... hence brown is listed there:

The face in the sun uses brown in the Argentina flag (Though if you want this level of detail Spain should have blue, green, pink and white too, while Brazil should also have white )

There also some elements of balance and well-rounding... I was expecting the 'lack' of being used for any of the blue flag colors to be a main gripe rather than including brown from Argentina's flag...?

hmm... is it obviously white is the color of the flagg so they dont need white color? on german wikipedia white is a part of the color... but well, its your tourney, so decide, but guess white should be the more intresting part than brown...
