1st game against
sikr. His deck was based on Forest Spectres, I employed The Black, The Grey and The Purple.
2nd game: Let's play Skull Shields and hope for Adrenafrogs.
1st game against
Vindilos. When I saw that he's using Darkness as mark I thought I will meet a Devourer-army
or something tasty like that. I used my previous deck - swapping Skull Shields with Bone Walls.
2nd game. I thought it is Devourer-time... Had a really good hand, and the next 2-3 cards were also very helpful.
Final against
DANIEELA. 1st game was really interesting. I used a simple Death deck with Pandemoniums added.
After starting the game with the usual greetings I pushed "done" without playing out any cards.
However I must add
I was lucky drawing the Nymph not to late (around mid-game), plus one of the Pandemoniums turned my own
(originally poisoned)
Mummy into a Pharaoh so it survived much longer. (But as Vindi said to me:
it is not just about luck, it is about building good decks - a good deck will generally have more "luck".)
For the 2nd game I used Nymph's Tear deck again, with a slight change (fine-tuned the pillars/pendulums).
DANIEELA's decks were sort of adrenafrogs+emerald dragons.
Still pretty unbelievable for me that I not just won the tournament, but did that by winning all games... six in a row.
I'm glad I chose ZOMBIES - somehow I felt the power in them, I trusted them. Plus I didn't like my PLANTS decks,
so the choice seemed obvious. Kinda cool that 4 player chose Zs and 4 chose Ps, so Zyardran was able the make
4 P-Z matches. Even cooler that the semis very Z-Z and P-P matches, so the final were also a P-Z face-off!
I have a better dilemma now: which Mark/Nymph to choose...

/ps: Fontcolors are kinda messed up... Originally I used limegreen for PLANTS (sikr, DANIEELA) and mediumpurple for ZOMBIES (Vindilos) - it looks different. Anyone knows the reason?/
