Rules

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

Special Rules
- Upgraded cards are banned.
- Only cards with a cost of 7, stats that add up to 7, either one of the stats is 7 or have 7 letters in their names are allowed.
- All pillars, pendulums and mark cards are allowed.
- All deck must contains EXACTLY 7 elements. "Other" is NOT an element.
- You cannot include more than 3 copies of the same card in a deck. (excluding pillar/pend/mark cards)

A: Pillars/Pendulums/Mark Cards are counted as their respective element, just as you can find those cards under different element section in game, or as they are classified in Deck sections.

Possibly also modifications of allowed cards too.(Same as two weeks ago).
Illegal decks may appear.
And tournaments begins at 04.00am for me.
Thats 4 reason that i will not participate.

If you suspect your opponent to play an illegal card, remember to send a screenshot to TOs in charge.

So how many of each cards in each of the seven elements do you have to use? I'm just thinking that you could do some rather annoying things like:
24 darkness cards
1 nova
1 photon
1 immolation
1 earth pendulum
1 spark

Or something like:

So according to the allowed card list, aether has 5 cards which has the largest number of card in all elements, and it means at best you could make a 30-card deck with 15 aether cards in it. Therefore I fail to see the point of your examples.

Well, then that should make things a lot better. I haven't thought about what decks are possible yet but on the surface it seems like it should be quite interesting. Also, I suppose all of the 0 cost nonpillar cards I listed are banned anyway :p

I had a 60 card stall and a 30 card trident/graboid/NT deck that used 1 each of a couple pillars for nymph's tears. Unfortunately, if you don't draw quanta, you don't win, and I had way overquantaed my decks because trident was so OP here. I don't have the codes anymore, but the 30 card one was 3 trident/NT/graboid, 4 water pillar/pend, 7 quantum pillar, and 1 amethyst/light/air/entropy/gravity pillars. Hard to imagine being quanta screwed with that deck, but when you get all the off element pillars and tears to start and no trident/graboid, it kinda hurts :p
The 60 card stall was the only other choice I could imagine in this tourney, and with 28/60 quanta I managed to get 1 or 2 pillars every time :( The elements I used were air/death/fire/light/time/water/aether. Still managed to win a couple games with both decks, though, so I think the decks really had potential in this format. Alas... RNG giveth and RNG taketh away. Usually the latter. /rant :)

When you have a max of 3 for an individual card, the tourney is going to be very very RNG. you either draw it early, or you don't. gg.

Exactly. Plus the very limited set of available cards and requirement of 7 elements meant that the meta was that 1 decks beat everything and that deck is what most people played: trident+NT+garboids with quanta sources and pends.
So winning or losing between the variants of that 1 deck was decided by RNG -- whoever had trident operational first won.
