1st	7,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon)
2nd	5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark
3rd	4,000 electrum
4th	3,000 electrum
5th	2,000 electrum
6th	1,000 electrum

Players who lose their quarterfinal (Top 8) matches will compete for the 5th and 6th place prizes in a mini-tournament. Prize-eligible players (namely, ones in the top 8) who leave the tournament without notifying the Tournament Organizer of their intent are considered to have forfeited their match, and also their prize.

NOTE: Players with fewer than 15 forum posts are not allowed to enter tournaments. Spamming low-quality posts to reach the minimum post count needed to participate will not be tolerated.

Special Rules

• Upgraded cards are banned. Shards are banned.
• All cards must start with letters from the name of a well-known member designated by the TO.
• All Pillars and Pendulums are allowed.
• We are providing two lists this time: deuce22 and UTAlan. However, you can only choose to use either one throughout the tournament. Your choice will be shown to others in the brackets.

Please double-check your deck and make sure it is legal. Then triple check it.

TO ANNOUNCEMENT:

We have just had our first tournament that undergoes deck checking process. To assure this process can go smoothly, please follow the procedures below very carefully.

• Remember to save your deck code for that match somewhere in your computer (e.g. notepad, Google Docs) before the match is finished. Only send in decks after the match is finished.
• If you won the match, please send your decks used via Chat PM using Deck Image Generator, in the order that they were played.
• If you lost the match, DO NOT LEAVE CHAT RIGHT AWAY. There is a chance the winner has an illegal deck, which could mean you could get the win instead. Please standby for a few minutes, TO will ask you to send in your decks if there is indeed an illegal deck by the winner.
• Please be patient while waiting for the match to be validated. It could take a few minutes as there might be a few matches finishing at the same time. Remember you can only start your next match when your match is validated.

I like how well the names split. One name isn't obviously completely superior to the other.

For deuces list, all cards that have a cost of 2 should be allowed

I like how neither group is really screaming to me that it's obviously better than the other.  Except for the fact that Utalan's group contains more nymphs/rares and might be more inaccessible to newer players as a result, I think they're reasonably balanced towards each other.  I'm not sure which side I'll end up going with... deuce's has a few individual one-off bomb cards that are some of my favourites for pvp, but utalan's has more of the synergies that I like to play.

this sounds like an interesting tourney only problem the dims are on the side with pc provided i am up in time for this tourney i'm definately in and have already pick my side basically.

Probably a stupid question but if I choose the deuce22 option deck, and someone else chooses the UTAlan option, is it possible that I could play them in the tourney, or is it separate?

Does this mean that people who don't have the rares/nymphs are at a slight disadvantage?  Is it a good idea to play utalan if you have almost no rares and no nymphs?
