All decks must contain an even number of cards.maybe it means an even # of different cards?
Each card must have an even number of copies in the deck.
-The first rule there isnt necessary since it is automatically enforced by the second.
Cool idea... reminds me of prime target, but switches the ban on casting cost for 1 and 2 pt costs.
Should be fun... Just hope my brain will be awake at 1AM this saturday.
Why are shards not allowed, yet nymphs are?My guess would be just because of the mechanic. Nymphs usually don't give unfair advantages, they're not exactly a gamewinner. You can use almost any strategy using them with alternate cards. Nymphs are rares, and useful, but so are weapons.
Meowth that's right!Waaaaaaaaabuffet
Why are shards not allowed, yet nymphs are?Shards are pretty much never allowed in tournaments. Even if they were, they're all odd-numbered casting costs anyway except for shard of sacrifice. Personally, I disagree with this, other than with shard of sacrifice, which is too strong, but I don't make the rules :D I mean, we can use rare weapons, which are only very slightly easier to obtain (since non-arena AIs can give them) and nymphs. (oracle rewards for lucky players) It takes more skill to get a shard than a nymph, but we can use nymphs and not shards.
Clarification: we're talking about deck size here. So, yes, that rule is redundant because we have the "even number of copies" rule. All decks must contain an even number of cards.maybe it means an even # of different cards?
