Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 5,000 electrum 3rd place 4,000 electrum 4th place 3,000 electrum In case of 16 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.


Special Rules

• Players start with a chosen element and one random element. All elements of the players will be public.
• If they defeat an opponent, they get all their elements.
• When a player wins against an opponent, they have to post all elements they can use in their next battle.

• This tournament is cancelled if it would be Double Elimination due to number of players.

Yes, its a bit of a gamble, but the theme would be messed up by double elimination, as players get new set of elements when advancing to next round.

Also, from 6 players, we can do Single elimination, so the danger is for 4-5 players only.

Two new rules have been added to address this and a related issue:

• Players who get a 'bye' will receive two additional random elements (representing a win)
• If any player would gain an element from a defeated opponent that he/she already owns, then a randomized element will be awarded instead.

This way, every player will have equal number of elements in each round: 2 in round 1, 4 in round 2, 8 in round 3, to keep it fair.

The thing is not everyone might have the same amount of matches played. For instance if there are 9 players, one player will have already played a match before the quarter-finals.

That's not a problem, because the given elements are not tied to the number of games played.
