ah Odii have meta-games better, if that is your concern
but if you want to ban only to make sense for the tournament, I agree with you.

FFQ is card that produces a creature which is banned. Otherwise unban NQ and NT. (make sense for the tourney)
I think there will be very much FFQ decks, especially because this deck doesn't overquanta your pend-element as much as other decks.

Of course it's easy to say, there are 1000 ways to counter it, but this tourney would be more fun without FFQ (more different decks).

I'm with Odii yes you may be able to counter ffq it splits the most likely deck into ffq and those that counter ffq tournies are meant to inspire creative deckbuilding at least that was the way I always saw it but when you can see almost certainly what the most prominent decks are going to be before the tourney starts it defeats the object in my opinion

Especially when players come on to the Tourney thread and toss around general deck ideas and predicted meta.   I still do not understand why meta nd ban discussion _develops_ on the Tourney threads.  Really it should be for posting during Tourney and TO's posting mod's leading up to the tournament.  The request for "ban this" or "ban that" or asking about "what about how this isn't phrased right" should be PM's to TO's and if it results in a change, the question can be quoted by the TO from the PM with the answer as a single post on the thread for that tournament.

Also, from my perusing of the banned/allowed cards I believe the prior claims on here of a certain OP meta are a bit exaggerated, but only time will tell...

This could be easily enforced by locking the thread when created and only unlock it when tourney starts.
That way comments can only be added by the TO, and anybody else noticing missing bans or having any questions would have to send that in PM to the TO.

IIRC, each person receives an auto-PM when joining the forum, so should at least be exposed to it.  If it were the case, though, that someone honestly didn't know how to use PMs, s/he could visit the "Ask a Simple Question" thread and get the answer there.  Ignorance is excusable; laziness is not.

Well... you don't exactly qualify for the tournament right as is...

First of all, you need 15 quality posts to be able to participate in a tournament, as Drake implied.

Beyond that, tournaments are different every week, so it's more than likely you'll be able to use your mono-earth next week.
