I didn't make it to the time, but I had a fractarmagio with catapults (hoping for alot of squids) and accelerations (if there wasn't)

I personally think the name of the tournament should have been: Stalls, Stalls, and more Stalls

(Seriously, I thought this tournament was supposed to be about little creatures???)

And I would've join this with just this quinted accelerate Armagios deck. Looks like it would do quite well.

The stalls was really dominant, I found strange, but ... as Root once said "That's how you win tournaments, buddy. You find what's OP in the tourney's goal, and you use it."
But if there were no stalls, would be dominant armagio or forest spirit series, for those who have red-nymph make good combination with guardian, remove stalls of the tournament would be very limited.
(many creatures were removed, weapons and shields also remove stall cards would be very poor).

Tournaments are a concept with themes, however are not always as they should.

It's all in the meta. All decks being equally strong, it's safer to run a stall deck than a rush deck against another rush deck. If you draw poorly with a rush deck, you're boned. Playing a stall deck? If all your cards are CC/Stall, you're good to go.

And, in the case of this tourney, looking at the winner... Apparently little things can't shine.

which part of the little things cannot shine? forest spirit is not little? forest scorpion not little? angel?

oh, I see. You have different understanding of little things then. what is your deck that uses little things that shine? ruby dragon? my forest spirit make good work of a lot of stall decks that I fight against if you actually read? Or did you read my matchup in the first place? too lazy?

 I am lucky to have my favourite stall to receive the cc it needs to kill those growing creatures and my own forest spirit beat up those stalls that it fight against. I am really lucky to use the right deck at the right matchup. Had my own firestall miss the cc it needs to kill a spirit that manage to grow, it is the end for my firestall.

I meant it in the sense that little things weren't showcased, stall decks instead were.

And in the decks you mentioned, forest spirits grow, red nymphs and angels grow. Forest scorpions are small and remain small, though.

And geez, no need to get so touchy/aggressive...

This deck did pretty well. It was faster than most decks and armagios could stall when needed.

This deck worked well vs stalls but got ove runed vs other decks.

This deck did really well vs all decks but stalls. Heal really saved me a few times.

These wore the decks I've used I had some stalls to but I never used them since they wasn't big enough.
