In the OP, the part about protect artifact, mummy, and pest, that is just as an example, right?  From what I can see in the rules, those three elements should be banned.  If it's not just an example, then I'm confused :p

I think they just used the banned elements as an example, so that they would not be revealing any actual deck strategies. All decks must be A/B/C trios.

I find the spoiler for more on how this works pretty funny for a 2nd reason: 5 dim shields, 5 butterfly effect in everyones deck. I wonder how great those dim shields will be.

What CuCN said. They were purely for example, as no deck can contain cards from those three elements.

GGs.  I don't think either of us took deckbuilding too seriously :p  Some pretty ridiculous stuff was used, lol.

Game 2 deck of mine was illegal, because I used air and aether in the same deck, and nobody, including the TO, noticed.  (sorry about that, there were no good decks, so as soon as my brain clicked on something even remotely playable, it didn't care that it wasn't actually legal)

For the '4th' game, I rolled dice to pick my elements, so that wouldn't happen again.  Unfortunately, I only got 1 water card, and 8 water quanta cards, so I lost.  I don't think I'd want to win that way, anyway...
