Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy 2nd place 3,000 electrum 3rd place 2,000 electrum In case of 32 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.




Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Upgraded cards are not allowed.
• Before each round, each player has to communicate to the hosting Tournament Organizer 6 non-pillar/non-pendulum/non-shard cards (from now on called "Declared Cards") he's gonna use in the next round. The TO will reveal these cards to the player's opponent before the match begins.
• Two, and only two "Declared Cards" must be present in the next deck you're using, in at least 8 copies (in total). You can still use cards that are not in the "Declared Cards", however".
• Once you've used these 2 cards, you cannot use them again for the remainder of the round.
• Shards are allowed but not required. If you use shards in your deck, they must be declared in addition to the 2 "Declared Cards". If you declare a shard, you must use it in at least one deck.
• Shards do not count for the limit of 8 mandatory copies of "Declared Cards".
• Cards from "Other" are not allowed.
• Mark cards are considered as pillar of their element, so they cannot be chosen as cards to be declared.

Q: Can you explain better how declaring cards work?
A: Sure. Just before each round you choose 6 cards to use; send those cards to the hosting TO. Once the TO receives cards from both opponents, he will PM your cards to your opponent and vice-versa.
Now, for your first game of that round, choose 2 cards from the 6 you declared; put at least 8 copies (in total) in a deck and play.
For your second game of that round, choose other 2 cards from the 4 declared cards remaining; put at least 8 copies (in total) in a deck and play.
If you have to play a 3rd game, you've to use the 2 remaining declared cards.

The above deck is legal, as it uses a total of eight copies of two of your declared cards.

The above deck is also legal : since you have to use "at least" 8 copies of the declared card, you may use 10 without any problem at all.

For the third game, you have already used up four of your six declared cards. Therefore, your last deck can only include at least eight copies of the two cards remaining - In this case, anubis and acceleration.

If, by any reason, you attempted to reuse any declared cards in any of the game, that would count as a loss, as that is not allowed per the rules. Likewise, you cannot use three of your declared cards in any deck, only two.

Q: Can I choose Shards as cards to declare?
A: No, you can't. Shards have to be declared by default, in addition to "Declared Cards".


Q: Shards can be used freely?
A: Shards can be used freely, but you have to communicate all shards you're gonna use in your next round. If no shards are declared before a round, you cannot use shards in that round. Using one is grounds to losing the game.


Q: Do Shards affect the limit of copies of Declared Cards I've to put in a deck?
A: Nope. Declared Cards must be present in at least 8 copies in total. Shards don't affect that count and they can be used in any amount you want. Using them does not change how many copies of the "Declared cards" you must use, however. This means that if you're using 3 shards, you still have to place 8 copies of the two "Declared cards", not five.


Q: Are nymphs and mark cards allowed?
A: Yes.


Q: Can I use mark cards as cards to declare?
A: No, since in this tournament, standalone mark cards are considered Pillars of their element.


Q: Can I choose the same cards over and over, as Declared Cards?
A: Yes, you can.
