Weekly Tournament - February 6th - Cops and Robbers - UnupgradedTournament Organizers: Ginyu, mathman101, or MeowMeowCat

Where? Please enter the Tournament room at least 15 minutes before the tournament starts. Click "Rooms" in the top left to find it.

Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

Prizes 1st place 5,000 electrum + Nymph/Mark + Trophy (Forum Icon) 2nd place 5,000 electrum 3rd place 4,000 electrum 4th place 3,000 electrum In case of 18 or more players, tournament prizes will be increased.

Points for the World Championship 1st place 4 points 2nd place 2 points 3rd place 1 point

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.



Special Rules

• Always read the second post! It contains equally important information most of the time.
• Upgraded cards and Shards are not allowed.
• You must choose a Faction; Cops or Robbers for the entire tournament. You may not switch choices during the tournament. Do this by chat PMing a TO at least 5 minutes before the tourney starts.
• Special rules for Cops and Robbers are listed below.
• Earthquake is banned for both factions.
• Maximum deck size of 40 cards.

Spoiler for Cops:

Cops:
- You must pack a total of at least 5 copies of Lightning or Deflagration in each deck. You may not use both Deflags and Lightnings in the same deck, choose one or the other. May switch between card choice between games. i.e. Game 1 use Deflags, game 2 use lightnings, game 3 use lightnings. Taze 'em, or blaze 'em, I don't mind.
- For every 2 creatures you pack (rounded up), you must also pack one weapon (except Morning Star). What would a cop be without his weapon?
- You must pack a minimum of 4 creatures.
- Morning Star, Pandemonium, Plague, Dry Spell, Rain of Fire, Thunderstorm, Steal, Freeze, and Fractal are banned.

Spoiler for Robbers:

Robbers:
- You must pack a total of at least 5 copies of Steal or Freeze in each deck. You may not use both Steal and Freeze in the same deck, choose one or the other. May switch between card choice between games. i.e. Game 1 use Steals, Game 2 use Steals, Game 3 use Freezes. Heh, Steal. That's your job, you know.
- You must pack a total of at least 10 creatures. How do you rob without some buddies on your side?
- Discord, Deflagration, Butterfly Effect, Pulverizer, and Lightning are banned.

I know this is a bit late, but would it be legal for cops to use 4 creatures and then more than the minimum of 2 weapons, or must it be -exactly- two weapons (in the case of 4 creatures)

Of course; the 2 weapons is just a minimum.
