84 attack power, no spells and permanents. Could have been legal with 1 less Dragon, but I needed damage.
I started all matches with this. Mobian was 1 turn away from installing a Reflective Shield from what I gathered, so close game. Got me a 6 TTW once.

84 attack power again, no spells and permanents. Graboids really loved me today.
This was my second deck in all matches. Luckily never needed a third, because I didn't have any.

The first deck I built was for Infantry. Then my mind wandered towards Cruiser instead.
Because we cannot switch tanks against the same opponent, building my first 2 decks for 2 different tanks was a risky move, but it worked out.

While I was waiting, I decided to build an Artillery deck for no reason. It was the last deck I built.

Fun facts:

• I haven't played the same opponent twice, even though it was Double Elimination.
• I listened to one song played on repeat during the entire tournament. (The song is from Initial D.)
• All my games ended in 2-0.

When Parawall is legal in a tourney, I'd feel weird not running it.  Although the quanta balance in this version is more awkward and running a 4th doll is suboptimal.  Probably contributing to it going 2-3.

Won game 2.3 vs w3 - I took out 1 pendulum and 1 bonewall for 2 steals because one of his decks had me scared.  He ran a different deck, but steal still stole the game for me.

I also brought a mono earth infantry deck, which takes me way back, but it went 0-2.  It was solid, but RNG did not smile upon it.

Lost game 2.1 to w3 - lost the toss and that extra quanta definitely sealed it for him
Lost game 2 to sub - He got 5/6 grabboids and I got 1/6 dragons and it came down to the last turn.

Earth dragon is just a great infantry creature.  I thought RT would be pretty valuable against artillery.  It was.

Won game 1.2 vs w3 - w3 had a nice twist, but it came too late

The FFQ-Hope archetype isn't really my favorite, but w3's deck was scary, and this felt like my best answer.  It was 1 turn good enough.

Won game 2.2 vs w3 - the pressure was so real as he kept laying down creatures, and then I had mana for hope and the skies parted and fireflies danced

Won 2.1 vs wyand - he drew A LOT of CC, and his vagger kept working me down.  I was expecting a couple dragons to appear and finish me off, but they didn't.  I think he had a bad draw, because I saw very little other than the CC

Cloaked Flames - ok so I actually had prepped a mono fire, in case I felt the need to bring out the big guns, but after playing against w3 a couple times, this just felt like a better deck than what I had.  Also I was so scared of Wyand's frozen fishy deck that I switched from Infantry to Artillery only for that rematch.

Won 2.2 vs wyand - he drew terribly with his gravy earth duo.  I couldn't chain the cloaks well enough to protect all my guys, but given his bad draw I just piled on more than he could stop.

This deck caught me off-guard with the Earthquakes. I needed good quanta draws, good creature draws, no more EQs, and one lucky Shrieker burrowed to pull this off. Even then, I only won by 1 turn.

I imagine playing Sub's blue nymph deck. It would look like this:

Not a good choice either, but... Having 32 cards with 14 pillars and getting 11 in the first 19 cards? WTF? I was like drowning in quanta.
Catapult came very late, didn't matter, could hurl only one Arma. All the while he got every time a Cloak when he needed. Whenever I
run a deck with 4 strategically important card, it is like "sorry, we are bottomdecking them, fool you!".
