Is this exactly one creature or at least one creature?
This rule does not override the one before it where half the deck is spells, so I'm not sure how you were planning on more than one.
The rules say half the deck is spells, yes, but half the deck is not necessarily
CC spells. Say you have 10 pillars in a 30 card deck, 10 of the cards must be spells. Of those, anywhere between 0 to 10 of them may be CC. Therefore, if you had 6 ice bolts (CC) and 4 purifies (Not CC), Then the rule states that you must have at least 6 creatures in your deck. but there are still 4 spaces for non-spell cards, and you can place either creatures or permanents (except pillars) in those spots thus allowing you to have more creatures than CC spells but still having half the non-pillar cards be some kind of spell
