This handles Pestal quite easily ... baited his steal with an hourglass to land my sanc the next turn ... he conceeded with only one steal in his deck.

Basically a perfect draw for me ... Wyand only played squids ... and I only played grabbies and the Gavel ... was enough to squeek out a win

Excellent draw for me vs. Scarab buffs ... I dropped damage quickly, but a poorish quanta draw was saved by his QP generating all the wrong quanta to play cards that threatened me ... as it was I won with 2 HP remaining!

Thanks for the games everyone! That was a fun 136th tournament for me!

Vs. adrenastaves. I wonder if they noticed I hadn't played fire yet... Oa didn't draw a staff and I got an insane draw and phoenix topdecks, so I rushed comfortably.

Sorry for quitting mid tournament. I had no intention to play in the first place. I only really joined because a 4th player was needed.

My intention was just to meme in the first match and concede the one in the losers bracket. I had no idea about this whole new league-like system.

Playing a Blue Nymph deck without CC/shield is stupid. I was doing the "rpg"-thinking: "ok, it'll be
useful later on..." Wings or Eagle Eye would have turned this game easily into a winning one.
Spiderwebs engulfed my poor flyers.

Mirror match, another deckbuilding mistake. Wanted to push for dmg so I added froggies instead
of Spine Carapace (added one for the first version, which was more like a life-air control deck
instead of this adrenastaves one). His T2 Spine decided everything.

Played a water/air control deck, got only CC spells/creatures, and no Toadies (only 1 in last turn).
Meanwhile Jen got 4/4 grabbies in ~14 cards plus his only TU... Grabbies ducked, was able to
dmg them in the penultimate turn to add another to my suffering. Stupid me forgot to include
the previously spared Wings... (or Ice Shield, whatever, but a shield to annoy grabbies!
sheesh, I spared those Wings for Jen's grabbies, I expected them! )

Jen had a quick start with his Psion/RecluseTal deck. No fractal, but critters came into play
very quickly. Meanwhile my QPs deserted me, and my start was slower (had to wait for
light quanta to play bless on my scarab). Later I was able to munch 2 of his creatures
but it wasn't enough, he was able to grab the win with 2 hp left. Just to show QP-trolling:
in the end I had 15 air quanta, 8 dark, 9 earth and I had only 2 grav quanta for my
scarabs through the entire game (1 from a Nova).
