Deck was ready but I was unable to choose again.
However he was kind enough... I got my punishment later by challonge... My memories are hazy, but if I
remember correctly got an animate weapon only around endgame, and didn't have the chance to cast adren
on it (used it earlier on psions).

Very intense game. I had early RPs for his scorps. But Fire Lances ducked, so I had to wait a long
time to have enough quanta to support my Phoenixes dmg with OTK FBing. I was able to do this
with 4 Lances (last 2 got bottomdecked in last 6-8 cards). Had a Reflect in the deck, in case of Psions.

Didn't get any AW through entire game, which made me a bit nervous. But all ended well,
because I had enough damage to break his Heal/Bond eventually. With EXACT damage...
(I guess I had about 4-6 hps left after his last attack.)

Poor Naii forgot to use any ups, which costed the game. He started with 1 pend, while
I was able to deploy devs and got a mito as well. Because he got at least 1 fire quantum
in each turn I was scared of that Fire Lance, but none came (it turned out only later he
used an unupped deck). Lockdown happened around T5.

1/1 for Naii and 1/1 for math. Worst case scenario I got tied with one of them but I won
against them so tiebreaker favors me. So I kinda thought it'll be alright to play untested
decks, just to try out something new. Well sh*t happened.
0-1 CC Firestall w HG + Crusaders vs. Fire-Light Healstall

Santa decks are either heal or either CC, this game was a perfect example. Didn't have
a good start since starting 7 cards contained 2 light ppms and a Crusader. Really.
Almost all of the light cards in the 38 cards deck... Didn't want to waste my Fire Lances
I had to wait until RPs. Meanwhile Phoenixes hit me hard. A Red Nymph arrived, that
helped a lot. Still had to waste a Fire Lance on a Seraph, and that costed the game for me.
Ofc I bottomdecked 1 fire lance (last card). I was forced to do the combo that turn,
because Zso had the quanta for Miracle. I still don't know what did I miscalculate, but
he was left with 6 hps and won. (Forgot to record the matches.
) Maybe if I start
mass-drawing cards one turn earlier with HGs...

Well, yes. Immo decks are unreliable as hell. But this... Got only 1 immo from 21
cards... (0,44%, yikes). A mistake in the deck that I forgot to switch to Fire mark
when I upped those gnomes. That would have gave me some small chance to
win, because this way I got defeated easily (though after a quite lengthy game).
(The only funny stuff from my perspective that Chaos Seed RT'd his adrenastave...
which just came back next turn...)

challonge and saw that somehow Zso is 1st with 2/1 stat. WTF? Did my eyes
deceive me when checking before the last match? For a while I thought I'm
just simply having a bad day, because I already had an illegal deck and forgot
to start my video to record the matches... But later checked the log of challonge
and it turned out that indeed, Zso recorded his game against math with a 0-2
from his perspective. Some 10 mins later he corrected the error, but challonge
is stupid, changes often do not refresh... I'm 100% percent sure that I would
have played different decks if I know there is a pressure to win. And normally I would
complain. But I won't do that now. Let's say poetic justice have been served because
of my G1 against math... another 2nd place.
Though I like to have a proposition concerning future round-robin tourneys.
I'd like to ask TOs to have an announcement before R3, telling ppl what sort of
ties could happen and how would these affect the outcome of the tourney.
This way such complications are avoidable. (And yeah, I will press F5 all the time,
but let's double the protection to not let such cases happen again.)
