Rules Please read the PvP Tournament rules carefully before joining the tournament. Remember to also read the Special Rules listed below!

NOTE: You need just one presentable forum post to be allowed to join tournaments; you can post it here. If this will be your first tournament, a Tournament Organizer will test your knowledge about the rules. So please be present in tournament room 30 minutes before the tournament starts.


Special Rules

• Every player is allowed to use each element only once, i.e. in a single deck throughout the tournament.
• An element is considered used if the deck contains any non-PPM of that element.
• Decks may contain any PPMs (regardless if the element of the PPM was used already).
• Decks can have any mark (regardless if the element of the mark was used already).
• Other cards are allowed in any deck, they are allowed to be re-used any number of times.
• Winners must post all the elements used in the match when posting the result in the tournament topic.
  Note: The losers of the Semi-Final must also post all their used elements.

Tournament Organizer Note If you think there is an overpowered card that ought to be banned, or you have some concerns about the tournament metagame, mechanics or other stuff, do NOT post it publicly in the comments or anywhere else on the Forums. TOURNAMENTS Q&A

Q: What happens if I use up all twelve elements?
A: If a player has 0 available element, he is disqualified, automatically loses all remaining games.
Q: How is a 'Bye' handled?
A: The player who has a 'Bye' loses the same elements as the opponent he/she faces in next round have lost prior to their match.

Please, note that I have moved the date of this tournament to Sunday (originally was scheduled for 10th Saturday).
The reason is that I have just been reminded that I promised (several month ago) a friend to help him out on an event next Saturday, so I couldn't host on Saturday and the other two TOs are both off for pretty much the whole of August.

So, apologies for the change, but I think its better to have the tourney moved to Sunday rather than have it cancelled due to lack of TO to host it.

What's the point of starting a match with 1 available element? Even having only 2 is stressful.

Btw what about DE? Someone from the loser's bracket can easily run out of elements after winning Final #1.

There will not be DE on this tournament.
If we get 6+ participants (myself included), we will have Single Elimination.
If there are 3 or 4 players present to play not counting myself, then we will have a 4-player Round Robin tournament, ranking on match-wins and tie-breaker based on result of the match between the tied players.
