At the time i wasn't an official organizer and the rules said I had to pick elements. Even though I used a randomizer people would still be able to accuse me of bias towards elements that I myself favored. By not playing I had complete neutrality. Its important to me that we strive to keep tournaments at a high standard and professionalism.
I asked the chat if they trusted me to also play and pick elements to use. I said if 80% think i should join i will. About 60% told me to join, the chat regulars and people who use to play tournaments agreed.

If i had been an organizer before this tournament started I would have joined as then I would have been sanctioned from the start and IF anyone had complaints I could simply disregard them and point to the fact that I had the rules on my side. The organizers word is final in all tournament matters.
