Special Rules
You must use a trio deck (3 elements)
You cannot use more than 50% of one element and cannot use less then 15% of the others
(if you have a 30 card deck, you could have 15 fire cards 7 water and 8 earth)
"Upgrade is optional (not required)"
SoGs are banned (cannot be used)
Other does not count as an element

Novas count as Entropy, right?  So I could theoretically make a duo-deck with 15+% Novas and it would be considered a trio-deck that would work for this tournament?

If so do i have to have fully upgraded deck because im working on a new deck and my old deck is mono-death

Western and Eastern are just the words used to differentiate between the two tournaments, you can join whichever one fits your schedule. Decks do not have to be fully upgraded. "Upgrade is optional (not required)"

Yes, you could, but It would produce a lot of useless quanta ofcourse, and cause a lot of bad draws.

Try this instead: Mark of Fire, 4 fire pillar/tower/pendulum, 6 fire bolt/lance, 6 darkness pendulum, 4 drain/siphon life, 6 water pendulum, 4 ice bolt/lance

I think it will be more fun to play, but you might lose to all rush decks

add SoG SoD permafrost dusk and firesheild (1 of each) (6 of each shard)

well, i have  a trio deck that 6 turn killed an AI 3 gonna try more tests..
its 15 fire, 8earth, 7 time.   not saying any more than that.
only problem.. i have no electrum to make said deck..s o i wont be in this one.. sighs* to be rich..
so if someone wants the deck code i have it. u can try it out. seems pretty fast to me.
