Yes. banned just means you can't have a copy in your deck.

Updated with a couple bans to discourage stalls: Fire Shield, Thorn Carapace, Fire Bolt, Ice Bolt, Drain Life.

What about rage potions?

EDIT: Nevermind. Rage potions are not relevant to stalls.

EDIT 2: What about ice shields then? And Pharaohs? (regardless of stalls, just because of cost)

As has been pointed out numerous times in this thread:

Only creatures which cost 4 or more quanta are banned by default.  The only other cards to be banned are those which interfere with the "Swarm" theme significantly.  Flying Weapon is not banned, yes, why do you think it should be?

you're missing a few.  i think he said he was allowing creature spawning creatures, which would add pharaoh and firefly queen

The first four decks in the unupped PvP Decks Archive are usable, which against my better judgement convinces me to support a Nova ban. I've been Swarmed by Graboid and Co. quite often already, a change of pace would be nice - this tourney has a lot of potential in it yet!

Not really. They are all countered by the same stuff. And all of the decks in the unupped pvp archive (mine included) aren't quite perfect, at least from my experience.
