I find this amusing because the normal Eastern time is at 6am for me. x)

That must be a fun time to get up and organise a tournament.

It's 5am for me, but that's not a problem because I can join the Western.

The other time was (almost) perfect...I am much likely to attend these tournaments with as much regularity...and I've only attended 3.
Oh well. My absence isn't going to make the tournament much easier. In fact, I'm pretty sure that some people will be sad to see their favourite punching bag go...

There goes my chances of participating. Now I can't participate in Eastern or Western with any regularity. I guess I'll have to just give up on my dream of having more Tourney Wins than Rastafla.

haha twins i wouldnt actually mind too much actually
we shouldnt be too selfish and let people from different time zones get a better chance to participate
but i would think a mere 5 hour difference between eastern and western tournaments would not be a good thing o.O
since that would mean more people who can make it to western can make it to eastern and less people over in the east like me and twins can make it to the tournaments...
i believe the whole point of 2 tourneys is so that more people can participate

I've seen a few people say "Oh my God, now I can join!". This is also a good hour for people in (on?) Eastern, and normally those who don't join Eastern can join Western. Those that can't, well...

Just keep in mind this is a test. Like said in the FAQ...

A: The original Eastern time hasn't been entirely optimal. Following the results of the poll regarding best tourney times, we're trying out midnight GMT as a new time for Eastern tourneys. If it works alright, we might change to it. If not, back to the old while we find better solutions.

Would it be possible to have 3 tourneys? If the organisers are up to it, of course. That way we could have more people join.

i agree with splash, only 5 hours difference now so a lot of people who can play in western can play here to now, people who couldn't play in western have a great chance they can't play in this neither...

Actually, we did this so More people can join. Obviously there's it's downsides, but it's a test.
