If you're going to complain about the bans, please refrain from doing so. The bans were determined by several Tournament Organizers, most of whom are highly experienced players. If you're really not satisfied with the bans, don't participate.

Unless I'm mistaken, the bans, both from the Trials and here, were taken from polls that everybody voted in.

You are. As GG said, we went through the most sensible bans. They changed a couple times to arrive at this, which stops the majority of overused builds in modern PvP.

I have never joined a a tournement before, when you join are cards given to you almost like a sealed deck or draft? Or do you enter with a premade deck. Also What if you have only upgraded versions of weapons you wish to use? Or arctic octopuses or other cards that are more challenging to obtain.

I'm not sure what you mean with "given to you". The cards you use are the cards from YOUR account, and to fight someone specific the "Pvp duel" option will be used. (Aka. you earn no coins for the duration of the tournament). It is also you who pays the cost for the decks you use.

The cards that you can use to build your deck (which you in this case prepare before tournament) are the ones allowed (or not banned in this case) in the rules for this specific tournament. (To be concrete this tournament banns all upgraded cards plus 24 unupped)
On a non-regual basis there are also premade-decks-tournamens, still it is you who constructs the deck with your account.

If you dont have a rare unupgraded, bad luck (sorry!). Every 4th tournament is an upgraded one though so you can use your upgrades there. I also hated the first time I saw that I can't use the morning glories that Divine Glory gives you.

My bad. The cards are achieved in the original game by you, be it by spins or by simply buying them. If you only have upgraded versions of the card you wish to use, you may use them in the upped tournament (3 out of 4 tournaments are un-upped; the fourth one is upped). That means that if you have a lot of upped cards, that could be bad for you in a un-upped tournament, but it would help you in the upped tournament.

You use "PVP duel" to find and fight your opponent, so you won't gain any cards/money/score for the duration of the whole Tournament. Prelims are normally best of 1, with round 1 forward being best of three. Then the top 4 players gain prizes, given out as Redeem Codes.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Tournaments rules always change, though, so be sure you have a legal deck each tournament. Checking the "Tournament Rules" in this same board will probably answer most doubts you have, but if it doesn't, you can always ask.

And yet there are still Rainbows. Banning Discord means banning Black Hole, as the former stops monos/duos.
