PLEASE dont include fate egg
future fate egg tourney could very well use this approach (please do) but lets make mutant galore a legit science experiment
I was going to request Fate Eggs, but not now.  I can not wait!

We're going to have a Fate Egg tourney later on. Likely when the undead passive ability has been added for extra fun. I concluded it's best to separate Mutation and Fate Egg, since you can use Mutation as CC, and that goes against the idea of the concept. And yes, you will get to Fractal Eggs.

you can see what cards your opponent uses, so it doesn't matter
The issue of course is providing proof of your opponent breaking the rules, and as Improved Mutation is a spell and doesn't remain on the field for an extended amount of time, you need to be quick with your Screenshot trigger.
Precog is an allowed card, so if you're packing those, you have much more of an opportunity to get a screenshot.
The key word here being if of course.  Based on the selection of cards available I didn't think it would be very likely that card would be used.  Nevertheless, you're quite right.

*It's even horrible against AI3, so how the heck am I supposed to test it???
**Heh, I stand corrected, it actually doesn't do bad so long as it gets going.
Testing tourney decks is always a challenge.  Mine is doing pretty well vs AI3 though.

I usually don't test it, I test it while playing in the tourney (eastern), and make adjustments as I go along
then, in the western, I will have all my decks tested, and ready to go

It would be nice to know it works at least somewhat before you test it in the eastern, even probably give you a chance at that, then make any necessary adjustments as you go along and before the western.  The more preparation the better.

in the last tourney, I couldn't participate in eastern, I slept over...
I didn't prepare any decks...
I went into western with 3 decks I prepared 15 minutes before the tourney
I played, I adjusted, and I came out second place
and thus, I trust my instinct and theorycrafting to be able to make good untested decks
