Also, XD at Flying Weapon, Quintessence and Cloak being allowed.

We had this debate a month or two ago :p  The TOs decided that since cards like Liquid Shadow aren't -primarily- used for CC, they weren't counted that time.

Also, Archangels being allowed, plus pseudolobos can be used to stop certain strategies in a CC-less environment

Incidentally, I imagine the CC nymphs will be very powerful this tourney.

earth nymph is CC and several others, even though they are ultra rare, theres a lot of people with the CC ones, and are allowed to use 6.  6 purple nymphs with no way to stop them because CC is banned seems kinda silly, and there are quite a few people with multiple purple nymphs that frequent the tourneys.

nymph tears are snails compared to mono nymph decks, so there is no comparison there either, just saying, if you ban other CC, ban all the nymphs and replace with something else

Not really game breaking cards though.  So if anyone fights someone with tons of nymphs (TORB), pack some of the "CC" available.
