Time and date link is set for December 29 in the first post.

I haven't participated in a tournament in a while; maybe I will prepare deck(s) for this one! I like that it's an upped card tourney. :)

If the tournament is on Thursday, can it be moved a few hours later? That way, it'll be after most American students get out of school, while not being too late for our European members.

Late? Eastern would still be early even if we moved it two hours forward. 8am for me, to be precise, and I'm GMT+1. Unfortunately, this would make it impossible for some other users. We will, however, have a little experiment next week with the Eastern time, because it's not entirely optimal as it is. So, we may see some change soonish.

On the other hand, you make a good point for Americans. Hm.. from what I can tell, it'll be midnight for East coast, and thus evening for West coast. A bit late for some Americans, but should be fine, eh? Moving it forward would screw things up.

I know it is stupid, but is other allowed?
Yes, it does not count as an element and is allowed.

Edit: with the exception of Shards of Gratitude which are explicitly banned.
You might want to rephrase the rules in OP then, as that was a good question. "Only x,y,z elements allowed" implies that everything else is not allowed.

Yes, well since Other isn't an element it is correct to conclude the elements that aren't mentioned are illegal :p But I added it to the FAQ.

Ahh, mindfailed. I meant for the Western tournament, which is at 1 pm for America's east coast and 10 am for the west. Those on the west coast can probably participate in the Eastern tournament, which is at 9 pm. However, the east coast has it a bit tougher. 12 am is too late to stay up for another couple of hours on a school night, while school isn't released yet at 1 pm the following day for the Western tournament.

That's why I'm suggesting it be moved a few hours later, to around 9 pm GMT. This is 4 pm EST, which is more reasonable. It's also not extremely late for Europe, and if anyone in the American west coast couldn't make it at 1 pm PST, they most likely wouldn't have been able to make it at 10 am anyway. So overall, more gain, less loss.

You.

It was my second tournament ever, and I remember losing to you and your mark cards (though I remember exclaiming "ooooh marks!", in awe of the awesomeness that is mark cards). I'm sure you'll find a creative use for your marks if they are permitted in this tourney ;P (they technically are "Other," though I've always thought they should be of their respective element).
