Special Rules
No upgraded cards allowed.
Only creatures allowed are Gnome Rider, Dragonfly, Ash Eater, Skeleton, Photon, Spark, Graviton Mercenary, Fate Egg and Chimera.
No direct creature control cards except Mutation allowed.
No Unstable Gas allowed.
No Nymph's Tears allowed.
No rare weapons allowed.

Q: What, exactly, is direct CC (creature control)?
A: For the purpose of this tournament, the complete list of spells banned is: Chaos Seed, Pandemonium, Antimatter, Plague, Aflatoxin, Gravity Pull, Basilisk Blood, Fire Bolt, Rage Potion, Rain of Fire, Ice bolt, Freeze, Shockwave, Thunderstorm, Reverse Time, Drain Life, Liquid Shadow and Lightning. Unstable Gas is also banned.

I'm having tons of fun building for this, between weird adrena-, poison- and flying weaponbows. Stalling shouldn't be common, even with Luci'd Photons, Hope and Miracle circulating.

So for the purposes of this tournament, Thorn Carapace and Fire Shield are not considered CC even though they don't have any protective function to them?

They are CC, just not direct CC. So they are allowed.

this would have been a fun tournament to have the fate eggs in, considering that the last one just turned into a flying weapon fest.

also, I find myself constantly going back to... why use dragonflies or skeletons, or ash eaters.... when photons are free? it's not like photons are an unused card like the others... I say dump em to spice things up.

They're completely unused on their own merit. Overused with immo, which won't be the case here, and underused with mutation, which will be the case here. Ash Eaters have 2 attack, which makes them perfect targets for momentum+adren. Dragonflies, Gnome Riders and Skeletons.. no idea. You have the creative freedom; you tell me.
Fate Eggs are certainly viable. We have reliable damage sources, so I can throw them in.
